ERP Cache Batch

The ERP Cache is a solution for situations where a direct real-time interface with the ERP system is not possible. The ERP Cache is implemented as an intermediate database that is filled by importers that process batch XML files. It contains a set of tables that enables the shop to operate on for the retrieval of customer specific prices, stock information and order history.

In the ERP Cache it is possible to store price lists and to relate customers to a price list. For customers with price agreements it is possible to import customer specific prices that supersede the list price.

The ERP Cache supports prices in multiple currencies. The prices are stored in the database in a base currency and converted by the exchange rates as provided by the ERP system.

The prices in the price lists are exported in a base currency.
